His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua graciously granted Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to travel on behalf of His Majesty the King to bestow degrees upon the graduates of Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing.
Mr. Tej Bunnag, Secretary General of the Thai Red Cross Society together with Assistant Professor Dr. Kanogwan Suwanpatikorn, Acting President of Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing had an audience of Her Royal Highness.
Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn gracefully traveled to Sakkharintharaphakdi Hall, the 3rd floor of Sirindhanusorn 60th Anniversary Building, to bestow degrees upon 3 graduates who achieved their Master’s Degrees and 198 graduates who completed their Bachelor’s Degrees of the Nursing Science Program. A total of 201 graduates of the class of 2021 were awarded degrees during the event.
Her Royal Highness gave royal guidance on this special occasion, an important part was said “…. I am delighted to hear from the report that Institute’s affairs have progressed well in every aspect. I would like to express my admiration for the first batch of master’s degree graduates and all of those who graduate with honor and success. The nursing profession is very important because it is related to helping and taking care of sick patients as well as providing health care services for people to become healthy and possess a good quality of life. To achieve the nursing profession, all graduates must learn more and always keep up with academic progress. Graduates must possess virtue in the heart, especially kindness and responsibility. You must also uphold your professional ethics. If you can act and uphold as I mentioned, each of you can practice this important profession and bring benefit to the people and the country in order for creating and developing the society and nation to continue to prosper.
