Phra Maha Phichai Mongkut or the Great Crown of Victory

         The crown is considered as the most important object of all the Royal Regalia and the monarchy symbol which is worn in the Royal Coronation Ceremony.

จปร

          “จปร” is abbreviated from “Maha Chulalongkorn Paramarajadhiraj”, which is the royal monogram of King Chulalongkorn, the King Rama V of the Kingdom of Siam.

Red Cross

          The Red Cross symbol is the international symbol for the Red Cross Society.

Coat of Arms 

           A coat of arms or an armorial emblem is the armor symbol in which consists of the symbols of the institute: Phra Maha Phichai Mongkut, “จปร”, and Red Cross.

Shape of Arch

          The arch shape formed by a loose span of green rope indicates gentleness, pleasantness and gracefulness. The green color is the color of Wednesday, which is the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Srisavarindhira, the Queen Grandmother of Thailand.

 

THE INSTITUTIONAL FLOWER

Gliricidia Sepium Steud is a medium-sized tree that grows 10 – 12 metres (33 – 39 feet) high. The bark is smooth, and its color can range from a whitish gray to deep red-brown.

THE INSTITUTIONAL COLOR

The red color (color codes Y100, M100) is utilized as the institutional color of Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing.
